1 c soy sauce
1/3 c sugar
1 tsp finely chopped ginger (or minced ginger)
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 T cornstarch
1 c cold water
Directions
1. Combine soy sauce, sugar, ginger and garlic; stir until sugar is dissolved.
2. Marinate steak in 1/2 cup of sauce for 6 hours or overnight. Store remaining sauce
3. When ready to cook, preheat broiler to high.
4. Place steak on broiler pan and brush with marinating sauce.
5. Broil 4 inches from heat for 10 minutes.
6. Turn and brush with marinating sauce once more. Broil for an additional 5 to 6 minutes or until desired doneness.
