1/4 c butter
4 oz (4 squares) unsweetened chocolate or 4 oz (4 envelopes) premelted unsweetened baking chocolate

2 c sugar
2 t baking powder

In large saucepan over low heat, melt butter and chocolate, stirring until smooth.  Remove from heat; cool slightly.  Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.  Stir in flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and eggs; blend well.  Cover; refrigerate at least one hour for easier handling.

Heat oven to 300F.  Shape mixture into 1-inch balls; roll in powdered sugar (coat heavily). Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.  Bake at 300F for 15 to 18 minutes or until edges are set.  Remove from cookie sheets immediately.
